The Bunker is an intimate venue with a rustic theme, specialising in bringing out the signature New Zealand flavours from game and other red meats. The atmosphere is only enhanced by crackling fires and ambient lighting. In terms of private dining, they have a ‘Boardroom’ which can cater for 10-20 people. Not only that, but they also have a cocktail room which contains up to 100 heads, an added bonus of hireable DJs available to pump your favourite tunes.
Jervois Steak House is no stranger to the New Zealand food scene, located in Auckland’s culinary hotspot Ponsonby, and on Duke Street in Queenstown. Home to some of the highest quality steaks, chef Gareth Stewart maintains connections to some of the world’s most prestigious meat suppliers, while still showcasing the best meat from Aotearoa. They also offer a private room perfect for functions containing up to 16 people. What you can expect is a private waiter, fireplace, and a space overlooking the Queenstown town centre.
Botswana Butchery is a well-rounded restaurant with a formidable wine list, and a wide variety of dishes to offer. The variety doesn’t stop there, though. This venue boasts an extensive selection of private rooms for almost every imaginable occasion- from an upstairs bar, wine room, garden room, and many more. For instance, the Garden Room is perfect for functions such as weddings and corporate events, while the upstairs bar has a more relaxed and intimate feel which is fitting for events like cocktail parties.
Arguably saving the best for last, the Amisfield Winery’s private dining area is situated inside the eaves of their iconic stone building. Up to 18 guests can mingle while overlooking a breathtaking view of Lake Hayes, the vines, and Coronet Peak. Food from the menu will be inspired by seasonal ingredients, with flavours melded in a unique way in order to cultivate a sensory experience for guests. The dining room can also be adapted to corporate events and meetings, and the menu can be altered to accommodate any dietary requirements.
