2023 food trends
Here at Dish Cult we’ve been speaking to experts in the field, from restaurant owners to leading chefs, and asked them what we can expect as food trends for 2023. There were four trends that really stood out: Sustainability, plant-based menus, locally sourced ingredients and seasonal dishes.
Rather than leaving it there though, we’ve gone one step further and rounded up the best restaurants around the UK that have got their fingers on the pulses and are already incorporating some or all of these trends in their venues. So, here’s our guide to 2023’s food trends and where to eat them in the UK.
The Bod Erw has earned it’s reputation by word of mouth and is a must for all food lovers! The family-run business has spent almost 40 years dedicated to producing only the freshest and heartiest meals. All meals here are produced from the highest quality ingredients – all from trusted local suppliers, too. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday, with a tempting range of hot and cold meals, cakes and desserts at lunchtime, a spot of afternoon tea, or a superb menu during the evening, and of course the renowned Bod Erw Sunday roasts!
Soulshine is a restaurant in Bridport producing locally sourced food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alongside these sumptuous meals, Soulshine also serves its own roasted coffee, has its own retail shop, takeaway counter and outdoor dining space. It’s great for large groups too, where tables of eight or more people can enjoy a set menu.
