June is Pride month – a month dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities all around the world and of people coming together in love and friendship. This year is a significant year for the Pride movement and the LGBTQ+ community as it is 50 years since the first Pride took place in the UK.

Where to celebrate Pride in the UK
Pride month returns after a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic and this time it’s bigger and better than ever. And not just because of its two-year absence, but because this year marks the 50th anniversary of the first Pride march in the UK in 1972. To celebrate, we’ve rounded up 10 of the best places to celebrate Pride month across the UK.

Pride month is back next month after two years of being cancelled, so we’re expecting the parties and parades to be bigger, better and more colourful than ever before. Dublin Pride kicks off with Pride Festival 22nd-26th June, with the march and parade happening on Saturday, 25th June at 12.00pm.
