Who's new to Dish Cult?
Every month we pull together a roundup of some of our favourite new places on Dish Cult where you can start booking tables. March had some fantastic new additions to Dish Cult, here’s a roundup of some of our favourites.
The Cricketers is one of Cardiff’s most welcoming pubs, set in a classic Victorian townhouse and within a well hit ‘six’ of Sophia Gardens.
Opened in 2010, The Cricketers has become a firm favourite in the city, offering a great range of quality Welsh real ales, chilled continental lagers and a fine selection of wines. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a hearty meal within the sunniest beer garden in Cardiff, or simply relax with one of the seasonal ales next to an open fire during the winter, The Cricketers offers many a great reason to visit.
Bubba Q is a locally owned spot in Edinburgh serving up classic BBQ plates, burgers and hot dogs, plus draft brews and cocktails. As well as a dedicated wings or nachos menu, you’ll also find a mouthwatering barbecue section that includes finger licking options such as the BBQ Chicken Stack, Pork Ribs and The Pit Boss Feast, which is great for sharing. This could be our new favourite BBQ restaurant for the summer.
Haywards at the Grasmere is an independently owned restaurant in Bristol serving honest, homemade, seasonal dishes. The menus are all developed in house by a team of chefs, all classically trained and who are all passionate about using seasonal British produce wherever possible. If it’s steaks and burgers you’re looking for, a light lunch, delicious brunch or a yummy afternoon tea, then you won’t be disappointed – Haywards at the Grasmere has it all.
The Ladies Mile is the epitome of a community pub: family-friendly, offering cask ales, a wide range of lagers, ciders and wines combined with fantastic fresh food of the highest quality. Part of the Golden Lion Group of pubs, you can find The Ladies Mile in Patcham on the outskirts of Brighton. Run by couple Paul and Gayle, the duo make every person welcome from the moment they walk through the amazing Art Deco front doors.
In the years since opening, The French Table has gone from strength to strength, quickly becoming recognised as one of Limerick’s best and most consistent restaurants by diners and critics alike, and renowned for its authentic Gallic cuisine. Now it’s joined the Dish Cult family, bringing with it its passion for serving fresh French cuisine using the very best locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, and delivering a truly French dining experience. The kitchen’s knowledge and expertise coupled with inherent French flair culminates in classic French dishes created with contemporary twists that are big on flavour. Service at The French Table is relaxed and friendly, providing customers with an enjoyable dining experience in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The French Table really does have it all.
