Who's new to Dish Cult?
Every month we pull together a roundup of some of our favourite new places on Dish Cult where you can start booking tables. April was a cracking month and had some very exciting new additions to Dish Cult, here’s a roundup of some of our favourites.
The Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne is home to The Conservatory Restaurant, which is located adjacent to the hotel gardens and offers fantastic views of the sea – ample time for the summer ahead. Here you can choose from a selection of mouthwatering starters, mains and desserts, or perhaps go for a lighter lunch with a sandwich or salad. Alternatively, you can also enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea. Lovely stuff.
The town of Dalkeith in Scotland is home to Slumdog on the High Street – a tasty Indian restaurant open seven days a week and serving breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just drinks if that’s where the mood takes you. We’d definitely recommend the food though, especially the Lamb Bhuna and the Tandoori Chicken Tikka Wrap.
The Orgia is Falmouth’s newest wine bar and kitchen brought to you by the owners of The Bottle in Newquay. Aiming to be Cornwall’s first restaurant with a dedicated skin contact wine list, The Orgia’s adventurous wine selection will also have a keen focus on biodynamic and natural wines, but there will still be plenty of choice for those who take comfort in the familiarity of more traditional offerings. The Orgia’s menu has also been carefully crafted to reflect and amplify the flavour profiles of the wines, with a focus on smaller plates allowing for customers to enjoy light bites, a full dining experience or an intimate evening of sharing with loved ones.
La Cueva in Ipswich has been completely renovated and the result is a beautifully welcoming environment. Book in for a chance to just unwind with a bottle of wine or an artistic cocktail in the colourful bar area, or reserve a table in the dining area with an open kitchen, stretching over two floors, to experience seasonal food inspired from around the world.
The Fat Italian is a family-run business and has been running since 2008. Serving predominantly Italian cuisine alongside dishes from all around the world, the extensive wine and drinks menu reflects the diverse choice of food. These guys are passionate about all things food and drink, and especially love all things Italian! The Fat Italian is situated on Derby Street, only a few minutes walk from the busy market town of Ormskirk and its train station.
