North

By day this place offers a delicious brunch menu, and by night it offers a selection of seafood small plates served tapas style. A cosy, family-run Turkish restaurant serving freshly prepared Turkish cuisine including kebabs, mezes and traditional home cooking, Engin’s in Sheffield is not one to miss this summer. Engin has collaborated with Enver’s Bar & Grill as they have been friends for many years and the results are something to behold. Engin and Gonul have taken over the Enver’s Handsworth branch, where they serve delicious food. We’re especially big fans of the kebabs, which are grilled over charcoal and served with spiced bulgur wheat, mixed salad and bread. It’s a divine taste of the Med.

Docket No.33 is a modern British restaurant offering cuisine with local and international influence, all thanks to the supremely talented Stuart Collins, who’s appeared on BBC’s Great British Menu. Located in the market town of Whitchurch in Shropshire, Stuart and team utilise the local produce surrounding them to create exceptional menus.
The Oliver is a vibrant bar, restaurant and private dining / function venue. It’s located in the centre of Newry, just a two minute walk from the local bus station, shopping centres and high street shops. The restaurant is walking distance from the city centre hotel and a 10 minute drive from the train station. Here you’ll discover a traditional menu serving old favourites alongside a full specials menu that changes every few days. The focus here is usually on fish, seasonal produce, wines and craft beers – all perfect choices for a summer’s day.

This venue is new and we’re here for it. Expect fresh pizza ingredients hand-picked and sourced locally, with others being directly imported from Naples to give that fine taste of the region where pizza originated. Origin 101
Bistro, Locally Sourced
Origin is a small and intimate restaurant, on the Main Street of the beautiful village of Moira. Here the concept of ‘Supper Club’ by Chef Leigh Ferguson as seen on Great British Menu is to provide a small menu using the best of local produce from Northern Ireland, allowing the menu to change every month, to cater for the best of what is in season from month to month. Origin is also unlicensed, meaning you can ‘bring your own.’
Nest is an unmissable fine dining restaurant in Newcastle serving seasonal dishes via a set menu Thursday- Saturday evening. Casual dining deli boards are available for lunch, while on Sundays you’ll find traditional lunches waiting for you. Nest’s team doesn’t take itself too seriously like many other fine dining establishments, and this is evident in the playfully named tasting menu. Expect tongue in cheek dishes such as Wham Bam Thank You Lamb and Only Yolkin’.
The Fish House is a cosy, family-run seafood restaurant situated right on Fistral Beach, Newquay. The inspiration for the food here comes straight from the sea, using locally sourced shellfish right from Newquay harbour. Almondine is a family-run French patisserie offering high-end afternoon teas in a beautiful and relaxed setting. Almondine’s afternoon tea is lovingly handmade daily by the team of pastry chefs. The team likes to keep to tradition by serving an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and preserves, and the piece de resistance – seasonal patisserie miniatures. The colourful array of cakes are served on fine, duck-egg blue china and copious amounts of tea and coffee can be enjoyed, making this a nice and relaxed way to catch up with friends and family this summer.
