Going out with the kids can be a right chore. You often have the choice of a chain pub with a soft play where there’s nothing you want to eat, or you go somewhere nice and get side eye cos the kids are bored and being a nightmare. So what’s a parent/guardian/aunt/uncle to do? Well check out our list of child friendly places in Leeds for starters. We’ve rounded up the venues where the food is tasty, the side-eye is minimal, and the kids will still have fun.
You might be stuck in slightly grey Leeds but that doesn’t mean you can’t convince the kids you’re off on a Caribbean adventure. Head down to Turtle Bay where the colours are bright, the music is loud, and the food is deliciously exotic. Their “Little Turtles” menu has dishes like grilled chicken, bbq ribs, and quarter jerk chicken, giving your little ones a taste of the menu without overpowering them with flavours. Best of all, if you head down before 7pm, you can check out their happy hour cocktails menu…
Meat, meat, and more meat. What more could you want? In this Rodizio-style restaurant, you’re given a card which you turn to either green or red, depending if you want more food. If the green side is up, the waiters come round offering skewers of delicious meats. Great right? Well the kids get the same experience, just at a lower price. So grab the wet wipes, the colouring, and head down to one of the most child friendly restaurants in Leeds. You won’t need to feed them for days after this.
