A trailblazer in Belfast’s hospitality scene, Yugo started with the mission to bring far eastern flavours to a contemporary city centre venue. With an unassuming industrial facade, Yugo excites visitors serving up creative Asian plates, putting its own modern twist on traditional dishes.
Open six days a week, Yugo is a must visit when around Belfast’s bustling city centre with an adventurous menu and helpful staff, ready to offer any recommendations, explanations and generally make every visitor feel right at home.

Serving up both lunch and dinner, guests can stop by to sample the delights of Yugo at varying times between Monday and Saturday. Although a Belfast staple for years, Yugo recently went through a renovation and expansion, which has allowed it to increase its offering and add even more delicious plates to its menus.
The evening menu is composed of nine different areas ranging from snacks and savoury plates to sweet treats and large sharing portions. Whether craving grilled meats, fish, sushi, bao or even dumplings, Yugo has you covered. As well as great variety, each dish is skillfully prepared, combining fresh flavours, traditional techniques and artful presentation to create a memorable visit every time.
Some stand out pieces on the evening menu include the blackened salmon, sushi platters, crispy pork dumplings and the variety of vegetable dishes and sides, which are prepared with the same attention to detail as the rest of the menu. If visiting with a friend or for date night, the sharing plate of côte de boeuf is hard to resist served along with the in-house miso gravy and a choice of two of the filling sides.

Although operating a reduced menu, mainly consisting of snacks and small plates, those hoping to bag a table for the front bar can still enjoy restaurant favourites like dumplings, prawn tempura and duck fried rice.
Even more enticing however is Yugo’s exciting cocktail menu, which is the perfect combination of classic favourites but with modern and completely unique flavours. The Five Spice Dark and Stormy or Banana and Tonka Old Fashioned are the perfect examples of the contemporary take on traditional drinks.

The food menu isn’t the only exciting thing on offer at Yugo with an east meets west cocktail menu that is unlike anything else on offer around Belfast. With a range of classic cocktails that have been given the signature Yugo stamp, you are sure to find something that not only tempts your taste buds but will definitely surprise. Arguably one of the most popular cocktails is the Toasted Sesame and Coconut Margarita, which is a consistent feature on guests’ Instagram feeds.
For those who aren’t drinking, you don’t have to miss out on the fun with Yugo’s Rhubarb and Ginger Fizz. This delicious mocktail incorporates the same Asian flare as the rest of the menu and gives the same excitement and drama as any other cocktail.
As well as the cocktail menu, visitors are spoiled for choice with a lengthy wine list with varieties carefully chosen to match the flavours of the restaurant. A wine connoisseur’s paradise, guests have the choice of white, rosé, red, bubbly and even the more obscure orange varieties – something that is rare to find in Belfast. Adding to the authentic Asian feel of the restaurant, Yugo also has a selection of sake serves for even the most adventurous of diners.
As well as the wine, cocktails and sake, Yugo has a variety of beers, ciders, non alcoholic and soft drinks, meaning no one has to go thirsty and can have an equally exciting time.
