This one is for all of our Scottish whisky and craft beer fans that find themselves in Bristol looking for a taste of home. From live blues and whisky nights, to pizza and craft ales with four legged friends, here we have something for all occasions.
With a dark and mysterious interior, The Library is a brilliant evening drinks venue. Serving exquisite cocktails in a quirky setting, we had to feature this venue on our Scottish special for their Whisky and Blues night. With their comfy sofas and premium whisky cocktails with live music, this is the ideal date night for Scottish whisky and live music lovers. With brilliant mixologists, as well as offering vintage afternoon tea, you can really enjoy some great drinks in a totally instagrammable setting.
A classic, consistently good brew pub serving craft beer from all over the world, not to mention specialising in their own Scottish craft beer. A venue where dogs are welcome and even can enjoy their own dog ice cream for free! With annual events, beer school, bottomless pizza and IPA afternoons, we really do recommend this Scottish venue! Craft beer and pizza, what’s not to love?
We love this gorgeous Clifton Village treasure. Tucked away in the heart of the village you will find craft beer and good food. We love how well The Albion accommodates food requirements here, from gluten free roast dinners to vegan platter boards to sides of pork crackling and apple sauce, this is the perfect spot for an extended family lunch cosy inside, or post work Scottish pint with friends in the sunny courtyard out front.
With an array of events from DJ nights to evening quizzes, this is a great spot for a community feel, as well as an extensive range of whisky. Standing for over 200 years, The Spotted Cow Pub is an award winning venue that has really stood the test of time. Since then it has recently been renovated, consistently serves seasonal delicious food, hosts a friendly team and sun trap of a garden, we recommend this pub come rain or shine.
A super cool Bristol independent venue in a multi-storey renovated building right on the river. Walking distance to the train station, this is a great spot if you are local, or visiting for work and fancy a good craft ale and good hearty food before heading on the train out of the city. With a games floor, kitchen residencies, long bench seating and great pints specializing in craft beers from all over the UK including a great selection of those locally produced, we love it here. A proper chilled out, independent West Country venue.
