Under the guidance of three Michelin starred Chef Director, Nacho Manzano, Ibérica Restaurants has been serving quality Spanish cuisine for 15 years at its restaurants, bars and delicatessens, all inspired by Manzano’s Asturian roots. His passion for food is borne from cooking with his mother and grandmother in the tiny village of La Salgar in north-west Spain’ their home later became the celebrated two Michelin starred Casa Marcial.

There are several Ibérica locations across London, including Canary Wharf, Farringdon, Victoria and Marylebone. Our favourite is the latter, located on Great Portland Street.
This is Ibérica’s flagship restaurant and the first one in the family of restaurants. Designed by award-winning Spanish architect Lázaro Rosa Violán, this exquisite restaurant features a stunning interior, including beautiful Andalusian tiles and giant glass hanging lanterns. With floor to ceiling windows, it’s flooded with natural light during the day; and in the evening a very special warm and intimate vibe takes over.
The popular bar gets full with locals seeking drinks and tapas like true Spaniards. Here you can enjoy a casual drink at the bar accompanied by tapas, just like they do in the Med.

We highly recommend the award-winning jamón Ibérico. The quality of flavour and texture varies by grade and is a direct result of the lifestyle, diet and breeding of the pig.
Made from 100% pure‑breed, black Iberian pig, the animals mature slowly, freely-roaming the Spanish countryside, grazing in fields and acorn woods. Depending on the producer and the desired intensity of flavour, the meat is hung for as long as four years, before this excellent product is ready to eat.
The Juan Pedro Domecq in particular is pure class. Cured for over 42 months, six times it’s been awarded 3 gold stars as best Ibérico ham.

From the classic tapas part of the menu, patatas bravas and Padrón peppers are of course a must. The croquetas with serrano ham, handmade to Nacho’s grandmother’s recipe, are also fantastic.
From the exclusive Ibérica tapas menu, there are some brilliant interpretations of contemporary Spanish dishes. We especially love the beef meatballs served with potato parmentier and topped with Padrón peppers.
Another specialty here are the mains, which include traditional Valencian dry-style paellas, which form a crunchy base during cooking, called ‘socarrat’. Try the black rice with squid, white prawns, squid ink and allioli for something traditional and bold.

One of the best things about this festive time of the year is sharing, and the chefs have created a Christmas feast to be enjoyed together with loved ones. From traditional Spanish dishes with a twist to brand-new creations, which are perfect for sharing with family, friends or colleagues.
All of this served up with the warm welcome and care of the team, and the infectious atmosphere for which Ibérica is renowned, lends to a memorable festive meal out. Allow yourself to be taken on a journey this Christmas, filled with joy and feasting aplenty.
