Heavenly Desserts Watford
cuisinesDessert parlour

A delicious venue perfect for anyone who loves desserts and shakes. Serving cocktails, cheesecakes, cookie dough, crepes, waffles, macaroons, gelato and more. These hand crafted desserts are to die for. You can even order tapas dessert, a selection of mini desserts perfect for sharing at an affordable price. Not only is the food super instagrammable, but so is the interior, perfect for a girls get together. However, what we visit for here at Dish Cult are the shakes! The shakes here at Heavenly Desserts are on the more understated side of freakshakes, but are still insanely good with flavours such as Mango Crème made with mango sorbet and fresh mango, to White Chocolate and Coconut topped with toasted coconut.

Miki’s Paradise
cuisinesDessert parlour

A very popular North London spot for freakshakes! Found on Holloway Road, this is a super cute, relaxed local venue that is also ideal for a sleepy weekend brunch or coffee and work spot. An award winning venue where you can order Açai Bowls to Pretzel, Oreo and ice cream topped overflowing freakshakes! There really is something for everyone, whether you are looking for a healthy mid morning smoothie, or afternoon sugar rush!

With a number of venues across London and a taste for luxury desserts, Haute Dolci is definitely a sophisticated dessert venue. A venue that is perfect for date night with events such as Valentine’s Day chocolate fondue and 12 Days of Dolci for the 12 Days of Christmas. Taking pride in the highest quality desserts and true craftsmanship to create total luxury. Not only do they offer sorbet floats here, but also shakes. More on the sophisticated side of freakshakes as you can imagine, but still absolutely incredible. Flavours include the likes of Roger the Dodger featuring Jammie Dodger biscuits to The Snowball featuring Belgian White Chocolate inspired by Ferrero Raffaello. Be sure to try the Hot chocolate here too, and maybe even a Caffe Cioccolato – yum!

We love a BOXPARK venue here at Dish Cult! A cracking spot that is always buzzing, Soft Serve are delivering some super cool new flavours and toppings with the likes of Charcoal Coconut ice cream and toasted marshmallow top. They really are on to a winner here as well as being super instagrammable. Maybe grab a Matcha and White Chocolate cookie with a Charcoal Coconut Freakshake topped with honeycomb crunch and head upstairs to enjoy a live DJ set. You can also get your hands on bubble tea and tiramisu lattes here.

The Urban Chocolatier Whitechapel
cuisinesChocolate house

All we can say is killer desserts and killer freakshakes! With a number of venues around London, we especially enjoy The Urban Chocolatier in Whitechapel, walking distance from Brick Lane shopping and Spitalfields Market. An ideal mid shopping pick-me-up, this is a hardcore dessert and shake venue. Freakshake flavours range from the aptly named “Triple Bypass” featuring peanut butter, brownie and chocolate to “Red Alert” featuring Red Velvet cake and white chocolate. A total East London crowd pleaser for children and adults alike.

TGI Fridays is a no-brainer when it comes to simple American comfort food, offering a menu that features all the favourites — from burgers and corndogs to ribs and shrimp. Of course, such a line-up could not be complete without an indulgently thick shake. Their saccharine slurps include: an Oreo cookies and cream flavour; a rocky road version which blends ice cream, marshmallow, cookies and caramel; and finally, a tempting caramelised Biscoff variation which features Biscoff sauce and a whipped cream topping sprinkled with Biscoff crumbs…

Rock and roll, diners and milkshakes go together as easy as pie, which is why the Hard Rock Cafe London — the first one in the franchise — has been standing strong since 1971. The capital’s swinging scene means that this particular outpost is home to some incredible pieces of music history, including Eric Clapton’s famous red guitar. You can expect diner-style milkshakes including Madagascan vanilla bean topped with whipped cream and a cookies and cream mini milkshake which consists of ice cream blended with white chocolate and Oreo cookies, all topped off with whipped cream and a brownie!

Lola’s Bakery
cuisinesBakery

What could be more scrumptious than one of Lola’s squishy and soft cupcakes, topped with its sweet frosting and pristine decorations? Well, if you haven’t tried one of the bakery’s cupcake milkshakes, then it’s probably about time you did! You can choose any of the cupcake flavours on offer, from the rich red velvet to the sophisticated tiramisu! The drinks literally consist of milk, ice cream and one of the brand’s famous cupcakes — and will satisfy those sweet-toothed Londoners. Plus, in the West Hampstead outpost, there’s room for you to sit inside and watch the world go by for a while — and then maybe buy a cake for the road…

Maxwell’s Bar and Grill
cuisinesAmerican

Maxwell’s is one of the capital’s longest-standing and best-loved American-style diners. In addition to its generous servings of fast food delights — including wings, ribs and twelve different kinds of burgers — this establishment is known for its OTT freakshakes. These showstopping desserts consist of jars filled with creamy thickshakes which are then topped elaborately with naughty nibbles. The Pretty in Pink, for example, is a raspberry thickshake topped with pink buttercream, pink wafers, a doughnut and candyfloss! Their other bonkers toppings include a whole toffee apple, a slice of rainbow cake and an ice cream sandwich…
