Alcohol free in Ireland

With more people across Ireland becoming more health conscious, restaurants and venues have had to evolve their menus. As well as catering to varying dietary requirements, places and diners now prefer to eat more locally sourced ingredients and cut down on their meat intake. For many, it also means cutting on alcohol. This means more places than ever are stocking up on non-alcoholic beverages, while some won’t even stock alcohol at all. With this in mind, we’ve created a handy guide for those of you who are looking for a fun meal out that’s completely alcohol free.

Inside Out is a multi award-winning restaurant in the heart of the beautiful village of Slane, offering a warm welcome to customers in cosy candle-lit Mediterranean surroundings of trees and laurels. The passion for food is translated into a menu focusing on freshness, flavour and colours, using local Irish produce with an inspired Mediterranean fusion to produce an array of mouthwatering dishes that are different from the rest. The large garden and terrace area is a perfect way to relax on sunnier days with some tasty sharing dishes and good company.

This is a seafood restaurant situated in Killybegs (the biggest fishing port in Ireland) in the very beautiful North West of Co. Donegal. The Anderson Boathouse offers a large choice of fish caught by local fisherman and it works with the finest products from the local area. The courtyard overlooks  the harbour of Killybegs where you can see boats leaving the marina, while the menu has plenty to offer, from monk and prawn to start with and black sole for main course. There’s also Hereford sirloin steak for the non-fish eaters and chicken dishes to suit everybody. Desserts are homemade; we recommend either the creme caramel or the popular tiramisu.
