One of the most talked about steak spots in Liverpool is this place – Macello Meat House. It’s gotten so popular it now has two venues – one in the south of Liverpool in Childwall and one in the north in West Derby Village. Macello Meat House first opened in Childwall in 2017 and it quickly became known for its delicious Turkish-style dishes and mouthwatering steaks. Since its opening, some popular faces have frequented this place, including Liverpool FC’s own Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Fabhino!

Both venues offer the same menu, but West Derby has a slight edge, as it sits a lot more people and is also close to some of Liverpool’s favourite pubs, including The Sefton and the Hare and Hounds. At Macellos, you should expect only the best refined meat. The process starts by selecting only premium cattle, and the meat is then dry-aged. On the menu, you’ll find everything from Shanghai beef steak and garlic leaf steak to prime ribeye and special cuts such as a 1kg T-bone. There’s also an Insta-worthy golden fillet, which is covered with 24k gold leaf!
