If it’s ribs you crave, and lots of them, then head to Meat District Co. at King Street Wharf.

There you’ll find a menu absolutely stacked with rib choices including full and half racks of beef and pork ribs, as well as rib combos with sirloin, burgers, wings, rib eye and bone marrow, all served with chips or a garden salad.

Of course if you’re really serious about ribs, you won’t be able to go past the MDC platter, which features a full rack of pork and beef ribs, sirloin fillet, and your choice of old faithful burger or chicken burger. It’s served with a side salad, chips and whatever sauce takes your fancy. It’s for sharing (we think!)

An upscale New Orleans-inspired diner and bar, NOLA boasts a premium Barangaroo location with a wharf side view that’s almost as good as the ribs and barbecued meats the team here specialise in.

The cola braised short ribs beignet are a surprising but melt-in-the-mouth way to experience ribs or you could go with the O.P rib eye, which is bone-in rib eye that’s every bit as good as you imagine.

While you’re at NOLA, make sure you check out the huge selection of New Orleans and American classic cocktails. If you haven’t had a sazerac, you should correct that situation as soon as you can!

With a name like Ribs and Burgers, you’ll know what to expect here! Quality ribs without any of the pomp, fuss or hefty price tags of other establishments, with a solid fan base if the reviews are anything to go by.

Ribs get a loving eight-hours of slow cooking here and you can expect premium pork baby back ribs, a full rack of beef ribs and fried lamb ribs served with a hot chilli BBQ glaze for extra kick. Oh and the burgers aren’t half bad either!

You’ll experience a flurry of smoky activity, and ribs here get basted in an in-house original sauce and grilled to mouth-watering tender perfection. Served with your choice of chips, salad or baked potato with sour cream and chives, you won’t be able to stop at just one serving and your best bet is to try all the ribs – beef, pork, and lamb – at once.
