Find yourself craving a brilliant cool pint of Guinness and dreaming of land afar but stuck in ye olde Bristol town? Fear not young ones, for here we have rounded up some of our favourite Irish venues in Bristol, strong in both Irish vibe and community spirit, guaranteed to satisfy even the greatest of Guinness cravings!
We love the St Nicholas area of Bristol, and so Seamus O’Donnell’s is the ideal Irish venue in Bristol where you can not only enjoy some cracking Irish drinks, but also a bustling, energetic atmosphere of an evening, perfect for a post work pint. Drink inside or out, ideal for warmer summer evenings outside under a glorious Bristol sunset. With some great live events, from traditional live music to drag Fridays, there is always great fun to be had here!
From sunrise to sunset, this is a great Irish venue right near the harbour in town… Okay not exactly sunrise, but from midday you can find some great breakfast all the way through to live music in the evenings at this Irish pub. Hosting some great sports events from Lionesses brunch to Crafternoon tea featuring unlimited craft beer and snack sliders.
With a friendly team and well priced pints, what’s not to love about the local Coach and Horses on Gloucester Lane? A super relaxed pub with indoor and outdoor seating, the team really do keep the Irish vibes strong, often partaking and spreading the word about local Irish community driven events – who doesn’t love a jig and a pint at an Irish disco?
O’Neills is an Irish pub that covers an entire range of features, from DJ nights, American diner vibe menu, sofa seating, live streaming sports events and more. With an outdoor beer garden and party drinks packages too, this is a great venue for large groups who want to watch the game, party on the weekend or students for post exam fun! We especially love the Thursday nights here for the happy hour and live entertainment.
A gorgeous, historic venue tucked away on Bristol’s infamous Christmas steps. Featuring craft ales, banging food menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, and of course Guinness, we are big fans of The Christmas Steps here at Dishcult. With both the delicious food and cosy atmosphere, this is a gorgeous venue with exposed brick walls, wooden seating and candle lit tables, for a chilled date night of a pint and selection of small dishes. The small plates here are also cracking, featuring Twelve Hour Pork Shoulder Croquettes, Cider Brined Chicken Wings, Confit Leeks on Toast and more. Not only can you find live DJs here on the weekend, but also a free jukebox here to enjoy.
