This is by far one of the coolest vegetarian restaurants in Wellington. Southern Cross Garden is a local eatery with a big garden and different areas that have been each designed to create a different ambience and experience. They’ve got delicious vegetarian dishes such as cob loaf, sticky sesame cauliflower nibbles, Buddha bowl, marinated tofu, and more. With carnivore, vegan, and gluten-free options, there is something for everyone. So bring your team from work, your mates, your kids, your grandparents, your special someone, or your laptop, and enjoy! PS: check out their calendar, they’ve got cool events going on like movie nights, music quizzes, and book clubs.
Travel across the world with Wildfire and stop at Rio De Janeiro! Wildfire is a steakhouse, and surprisingly they serve amazing vegetarian plates. Hard to believe? Check this out. They’ve got zucchini falafel, dal-rice arancini, mushroom porcini risotto, pumpkin walnut ravioli, fire roasted vegetables and other delights. Your carnivore friends have no more excuse not to dine out with you. At Wildfire, you’ll find something for each and everyone!
Volare, oh oh! Mangiare, oh oh oh! The idea of Ombra is to serve modern Italian sharing plates as soon as they’re ready. Bring your friend, date, mom, or your entire office and enjoy all sorts of yummy vegetarian treats. We loved the San Marzano pizzette as well as the cavolo nero & hazelnut gnocchi. Trust us, those Italian delights will not fail to please those little taste buds of yours. Come on, book now!
As the name implies, there’s more to Spirit House than great food and good times. This Asian inspired restaurant serves food that is not only fresh but full of flavours too. Literally all dishes can be made vegetarian, and they’ve got lots of gluten-free and vegan options. We personally loved the pad Thai: it’s white rice noodles cooked with their fresh bean sprouts, spring onion and crushed peanuts in their special sauce, served with fresh lemon and sprout. Spirit House is by far one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Wellington, experience it for yourself!
