This bustling eatery and cocktail bar serves delicious food inspired by the flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean. It’s also got a cracking selection of vegetarian dishes which makes it one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Belfast. Try the Chermoula (garlicky coriander paste) dish with roast mushroom and confit garlic. However if you’re one of those weird people who can’t stand coriander, not to worry, the vegetable tagine might be for you, it’s served with olives, almonds and preserved lemon gremolata. This isn’t a butternut squash risotto kinda place, you’ll find tasty, interesting vegetarian dishes here.

The Muddlers Club
cuisinesEuropean, Fine Dining, Tasting Menu, Vegetarian Friendly

Tucked away between Waring Street and Exchange Place in the historic back street of Cathedral Quarter, you’ll find The Muddlers Club, named after the secret society that met there over 200 years ago. The head chef and owner, Gareth McCaughey chooses the best quality produce every day and the open kitchen adds a sense of theatre to the cooking, allowing the diner to sit watching the scenes unfold in the kitchen as ingredients transform into dishes right before their eyes. Not only will you find exceptional food, you’ll find a carefully considered wine list and an extensive cocktail list. We would recommend the vegetarian and vegan tasting menu, priced at £45.00, add wine to that for another £25.

Shed

Shed is a busy bistro based in South Belfast which has been trading for over half a decade. They offer contemporary food in a relaxed but efficient atmosphere. The menu changes constantly so you’re bound to try something different anytime you go. Get all your pals together and enjoy a vegetarian feast by choosing from the specific vegetarian menu. We want to try the sundried tomato and basil arancini with black olive tapenade and the pea, mint, sprouting broccoli and chimichurri risotto. This place is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in belfast as really caters to veggies and you’ll be spoilt for choice for dishes.

Yugo is a new, vibrant dining experience in the heart of Belfast city centre that serves delicious and remarkable food and drinks. They combine modern and traditional Asian cooking styles. At this vegetarian restaurant in Belfast, you can snack on Sushi made from avocado, cucumber and nori.  If you fancy a small dish, you need to try the charred Greens, pickled mooli, and shiitake. If you’re gonna go big and probably not go home until the wee hours, line your stomach with a lovely lentil dahl or the magnificient massaman curry. But if you’re nursing a sore head from the night before, we’d recomment the hand cut chips with togarashi seasoning, they’ll sort you right out, along with a bao bun. Book now!
