Turtle Bay has officially opened its doors in Glasgow, welcoming locals for some rum, reggae, jerk and good times. And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, the Caribbean restaurant has also unveiled a new boozy brunch for Glaswegians, with a Glasgow-exclusive cocktail…

After years of waiting, Turtle Bay has finally brought its famous mix of Rum, Reggae and Jerk to Scotland for the very first time!
Situated on the corner of St Vincent and Hope Street, just a few minutes away from Buchanan Galleries and less than a five minute walk from Glasgow Central train station, this is the perfect place to refuel after sightseeing and shopping in central Glasgow.

Caribbean-inspired flavours await Glaswegians at Turtle Bay. From classics such as smoky Jerk Chicken and rich Curry Goat, to comforting soul food like Chef Collin’s Mac n Cheese or Kingston Fried Chicken.
And make sure to book a table Sunday – Thursday for £6 tropical cocktails, as well as deals on mocktails and beer (£8.50 Fri and Sat).

If you’re looking for a new boozy brunch experience, then you’re in luck because the famous Bay Brunch is exactly what you need. At Turtle Bay you can enjoy five drinks plus any brunch dish, burger or wrap for just £27.50pp.
You can choose from cocktails, prosecco, draft Red Stripe and mocktails. All the cocktails on the menu are included in the deal too (there are more than 20!), including the Glasgow-only Irn Bru Cocktail. The iconic fizzy orange drink might be an unusual pairing for a Caribbean-inspired cocktail, but the team here wanted to mix up something totally unique that pays homage to Scotland’s self-declared “other national drink” whilst remaining true to its love of the Caribbean sunshine spirit – rum.
Enter the Bru & Stormy – a refreshing cocktail that’s exclusive to Turtle Bay Glasgow. The team has mixed RedLeg Spiced Rum and falernum with your classic Irn Bru and finished it off with a dash of bitters. Bru & Stormy is the perfect blend of Scottish and Caribbean spirit and we think you’re going to love it! The sweetness of Irn Bru pairs perfectly with the spiced rum and bitters – who knew?!
