TikTok ranks three most popular restaurants in Belfast

Three popular Belfast spots have been ranked among the most popular restaurants around the world, according to TikTok.

With TikTok now overtaking Google for search queries among Gen Z, people everywhere are now flocking to the app to check out everything from beauty products to bars and restaurants all the way down to holiday destinations before deciding to make a purchase.

New research by Influencer marketing agency Ubiquitous has revealed the top bars and restaurants around the globe according to TikTok users, with a number of NI hotspots making the cut.

In the list of the Most Popular Bars & Restaurants of 2022 across Ireland and Northern Ireland, The Bowery was one of those that featured.

House and 3 Levels also made the list of NI restaurants that have been making an impact on ‘For You’ pages across the world.

The Bowery, a ‘neighbourhood pub’ on the Lisburn Road, was the most popular NI restaurant, coming in at number 14 on the list.

It was followed by botanic bottomless brunch haven House at 20 and 3 Levels, a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant, at number 23.

Jeremy Boudinet, Sr. Director of Growth from Ubiquitous said: “Food is one of the highest searched for items on TikTok with over 422.2million hashtags, meaning it’s no surprise that restaurants and bars are starting to design their venues with ‘TikTok-ability’ and ‘trend factor’ in mind.”
