If you’ve never tried a Thali – a platter packed with various traditional Indian dishes – you should head to Little India and build your own Thali with your choice of curry, rice, naan bread and more. The best place to sample a good curry is at Bundobust – everyone’s favourite food and beer hall. Based on Bold Street, Bundobust is known for its vibrant Indian dishes from spiked bhajis and crispy okra fries to barbeque paneer tikka and the famous bhaji butty. 

If you are heading to Bundobust with a group, you should try their famous Bundo combo which feeds up to 8 people and includes nearly every item on the menu, including some flavour-packed curry dishes. They also have smaller combos for 2 or 4 people, which are packed with all Bundobust favourites. This is a great choice if you’re not sure what to order, as the combos include all the best bits. You can wash it all down with a fruity Bundo beer or a much-loved Bundbost pale ale, which are all made in Bundobust’s brewery just down the road in Manchester.

The menu at Sanskruti boasts an array of authentic and flavorful curries, from velvety Kaju Masale to the rich Tarka Daal, each dish is packed with aromatic spices and fresh ingredients that will keep you coming back for more.

The ambiance at Sanskruti is cosy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to indulge in a comforting bowl of curry. If you fancy trying a mixture of Indian dishes, you should try a Thali (platter), which comes with a range of starters, mains, daal, rice, roti salad, and even dessert.
