Pride Month in Glasgow

June is all about Pride; the international celebration where people join together in love and friendship. It’s about cheering decades of positive changes in rights, highlighting areas in which there’s still work to be done in bringing equality for all, and of course, throwing the most colourful party of the year. This year’s Pride promises to be bigger and better than ever before, so bring your pals and loved ones as we honour the wider LGBTQ+ community. Here are the top 10 places you can celebrate Pride 2024 in the city of Glasgow.

La Bonne Auberge Glasgow Theatreland takes pride in being one of the few Glasgow restaurants to still be going strong after more than 44 years. La Bonne Auberge, Glasgow’s original Mediterranean brasserie, continues to thrive and innovate. Using only the freshest ingredients, the menus offer excellent value for money and tantalising cuisine inspired by France and the Mediterranean. Surrounded by some of Glasgow’s top theatres such as the King’s and Pavilion Theatres plus Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, La Bonne Auberge offers the perfect venue for pre-theatre and à la carte dining. Why not make it an extra special occasion for Pride Month by enjoying some private dining in the Montmartre Suite and make a night of it by staying over at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland that’s just footsteps away!

More or less equidistant to both Glasgow Green (the Pride march starting point) and Broomielaw (its endpoint), this could be a great shout if you want to gather before and reconvene afterwards in the same place. It’s also one of the best value, most authentically laid-back places to enjoy delicious homemade food and great value cocktails in town. With any luck, we’ll see some sunshine, so the party can spill onto Mono’s large outdoor seating area, where the delightful staff will take your order as you watch the world of Pride pass by. As there’s often live music, you may well be able to catch a band while you’re in and you’ll definitely be able to pick up some vinyl as there’s a record store inside. Oh, and did we mention that everything is vegan? Which means you’ll be doing the planet (and yourself) a favour by eating here, too.
