The Killermont Polo Club is a beautiful Indian restaurant located on Maryhill Road that serves delicious Asian dishes in a relaxed setting. The interesting name comes from the East’s love of polo, which was introduced by Britons in 1860. Diners have the choice of being seated in either the windowed club house area of the restaurant or the more formal dining area, which are both beautifully decorated with white linen and polo photographs.

A two-course lunch menu is available for £7.95 and allows diners the choice of dishes such as ‘Chilli chicken’, ‘South Indian Garlic Chilli’, ‘Rogan Josh’ or ‘Chicken Tikka Masala’. A larger selection of spicy main dishes is available on the a la carte menu including ‘Murgh Laziz’, which is a Punjabi Tikka Masala in a spicy garlic sauce made from hot chilli peppers, ginger, onions and crushed coriander seeds.

As well as experiencing Thai food, the staff at Chaophraya are keen for all diners to also discover the Thai culture which can be seen through the authentic décor and friendly staff. An extensive range of menus are available for diners to choose from with dishes that are both mild in spice and full of spice. A chilli icon is placed next to spicy dishes on the menus, which allows diners to quickly spot the hottest dishes available.
