There is always something happening at Ten Streets Social, so its perfect for students looking to try something new. They have regular live music nights featuring local and national acts, as well as quiz nights, comedy shows, and even art exhibitions. Before or after the latest event you can indulge in some delicious and affordable dishes, like the sirloin steak for just £13 or some delicious Mac and cheese for £7 or £8 with some tasty bacon lardons. They also serve up a fairly cheap breakfast and Sunday lunch, if you fancy some home comforts.

The GPO Food Hall

The GPO Food Hall in Liverpool is ideal for students who are looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat. This food hall is home to a variety of vendors that offer a wide range of delicious and affordable food options. It’s also a great place to get some work done, as it costs just £5 to use the GPO co-working space, which includes bottomless coffee from In Bloom Coffee and plug socket access in a designated co-working area. You can also treat yourself to a GPO lunch and make the most of their £6 lunch deal. 

One of the reasons why students love the GPO Food Hall is because of the great selection of food available. Whether you’re in the mood for pizza, tacos, burgers, or sushi, you’re sure to find something that will satisfy everyone’s cravings. They also have plenty of deals on, including bottomless brunch, Happy Hour from Monday to Friday at 4pm until 6pm, and Wine Wednesdays where you can get bottles of house wine for £10.

Camp and Furnace

Once home to the famous Bongos Bingo event, Camp and Furnace has become a go-to place for students, with plenty of fabulous celebrity-themed events, TV show quiz nights and its own bingo rendition – Bingo Lingo. There’s also plenty of live music, well-known DJs (Craig Charles is a regular) and regular comedy shows, as well as food festivals and art exhibitions, so there’s no chance of getting bored, and students also get a great discount at any event.

The venue also has a large outdoor space that’s perfect for the summer months and beer garden outings. Another reason students flock to Camp and Furnace is the food. The venue is known for its delicious pizzas and brunch options, but there’s something for everyone on the menu. The drinks selection is also impressive, with a wide range of craft beers and cocktails available.

Baltic Market

Just a stone’s throw away from Camp and Furnace is probably the most well-known and much-loved venue in the Baltic Triangle – the Baltic Market. This venue was actually the first-ever indoor street food market in Liverpool, and it is home to some of the best food vendors in the city, including the OG’s – Little Furnace Pizzas and The Midnight Delivery. You will also find new and exciting traders like UFC star and  Scouser Molly “the meatball” Mccann’s’ new venture, Polpetta, which serves up delicious subs, pasta and of course polpettas (meatballs). 

The Baltic Market is perfect for students who fancy eating out as there is something for everyone, which means there will be no flat arguments. It’s also the perfect place to start a night out, as you can line your stomach with good food and order a drink with the click of a button on the Baltic Market’s app. You can also find the perfect spot in front of the big screen, which shows all the football,fights and fun. When there’s nothing else to watch you can listen to the talented musicians who perform on the big stage, while you relax with zero bar queuing stress.
