Pulp is a quirky cafe located on Gibson Street in the heart of the city centre’s west end. Pulp specialises in serving brunch and freshly pressed juices seven days a week. It’s got a wide variety of smoothies on the menu that are made to order and created with fresh fruit and vegetables to ensure that they are full of goodness and nutrition.

The strawberries, raspberries, apple and banana smoothies are popular options, as are the avocado, apple, spinach and mint. If you fancy a refreshing juicy smoothie, you should try the carrot, apple, orange, and ginger. Each of the smoothies is £5 and can be enjoyed either sitting in the cafe or taken on the go.

Stack & Still is a famous pancake restaurant that specialises in both savoury and sweet pancake creations. Due to its popularity, as well as having four restaurants in Glasgow it has also expanded to Livingstone and Edinburgh. Alongside delivering mouthwatering pancakes, Stack & Still also has a section of its drink menu dedicated to smoothies.

Why not try the Blueberry and Blackberry smoothie with a blend of apple, elderberry, banana, almond milk, and chia seeds? Alternatively, the Strawberry and Banana with soya milk and chia seeds is another crowd pleaser. If you fancy something more daring the Exotic Fruits is Stack and Still’s signature smoothie, made with passion fruit, mango, raspberry, guava, almond milk, and chia seeds.

When it comes to brunch there are few places better than the Singl-end in Garnethill. Singl-end is a cafe and bakehouse that specialises in serving home-baked food, cakes and bread, and caters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian diets. Some of the brunch delights you can expect from a visit include Stornoway eggs, homemade sourdough and veggie baked eggs.

If you don’t fancy a bloody Mary to accompany your brunch, then we recommend that you try one of Singl-end’s iconic smoothies. Cure yer heid is, as the name suggests, an excellent tonic if you are in a slightly hungover state. This smoothie is a mixture of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas and ginger mixed with orange juice. Chill yer greens is another smoothie made from pineapple, mango, banana, broccoli, spinach and celery mixed with apple juice.
