This is a staple of Lark Lane. Located in the middle of the thriving and popular road, there is always a queue as soon as the sun shines with people excited to get a famous Gelato ice cream. They have standard flavours as well as their ‘premium’ range that includes Kinder Bueno (our fave!), Biscoff and Ferrero Rocher. These flavours often change and they have even launched a new summer range including Mojito flavour, which is nicer than it sounds.

Neapolitan Pizza

These ice-creams are not only Italian (the best type of ice cream, obviously), but award-winning Italian ice-cream! They have sixteen flavours including all the standard choices but also some interesting ones to tickle your taste buds! Think Jammy Dodger and Fruit Salad (the sweets) flavour. You can get these to sit-in or take-away or maybe as a dessert after you try one of their amazing pizzas. Located right next to Liverpool Lime Street train station, this is the perfect location for you to grab a quick cone before or after a day of shopping, partying or exploring the city.

P&D Italian Deli

Located just around the corner from the icon St John’s radio tower, P&D (also known as Paolo Donato), is the place to be for authentic Italian pastries, coffee and of course, ICE CREAM. They serve a stunning range of vegan ice cream which makes you feel as though you are sat in Rome, enjoying a proper Italian gelato… Why not try their pistachio, hazelnut or vanilla combo? Or if you’re more of a sorbet fan, they serve a deliciously tangy lemon flavour. This is Liverpool’s most authentic Italian ice cream at a very reasonable price!

The Reader Ice Cream Parlour
cuisinesIce cream parlour

The hugely popular ice cream parlour is open all year, selling all the best flavours, supplied by Cheshire Farm Ice Cream. The Reader is located in the heart of Calderstones park which is also thriving on a hot, sunny day. With all profits generated gifted back to The Reader charity, not only are you doing your bit for a great cause, you’ll be experiencing rich and creamy ice cream. One review even said that it was the best rum and raisin ice cream he’d ever had. So, if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat on a hot summer’s day, we would recommend trying out The Reader ice-cream parlour and testing whether all of the amazing Trust Pilot reviews are accurate!

Head to The Quarter, named after its setting in the picturesque Georgian quarter, for a dessert date in one of the prettiest and most welcoming eateries in Liverpool. Ice cream fans will love the selection of sundaes – from favourites such as caramel fudge, Eton mess, and strawberry cheesecake and cream, to the vegan Oreo cookie sundae, the boozy Rossini (strawberry sorbet topped with fizz), and the fruity Riviera Tropical Sundae full of coconut, mango, and passion fruit flavours.
