Undecided on what you fancy for dinner? Or trying to accommodate a range of preferences in your group? Perhaps you are wanting to try new and uncharted foodie territory? Here we have a roundup of Bristol’s best fusion restaurants from French and Indian to Chinese, Indonesian, Korean and Sunday Roasts, all in the epic eateries of the city.
We love this gorgeous venue, perfect for Instagrammable content with their pink and blue colour scheme and blossom covered ceiling. With a brilliant atmosphere and serving a fantastic seasonal menu of French fusion dishes we highly recommend their combination of French and Asian flavours. Accommodating dietary requirements with great vegan options too, there really is something exciting and new for everyone here. The menu features the likes of truffle and mushroom risotto, tandoori aubergine steak, soft shell crab and coconut chutney.
Sister to Seven Lucky Gods, we love this Asian fusion venue. With a funky retro vibey interior, this is an Instagrammable venue that serves some epic dishes. Their menu features the likes of the Indonesian gado gado salad, gyoza, KFC Burger, and tonkotsu ramen, all washed down with a cold pint of Asahi, major yum. Make sure you head down for their Dim Sunday Funday, the ideal foodie afternoon feast.
Rock Salt serves a stunning fusion of the best Indian, Chinese and British flavours in Bristol. With a fantastic team and brilliant cocktail menu that pairs with the food, you can find an extensive menu featuring delicious dishes from dim sum to salt and pepper prawns. We highly recommend booking in advance if you’re looking for Indian or Chinese food as this is a popular place! There are good options for vegans and veggies too, but we recommend Rock Salt more for those who love their meat.
We love this well established Stokes Croft artistic venue. Found on the ground floor of a building of art and dance studios, on Sundays The Canteen offers their renowned cracking traditional, vegetarian and vegan roasts, with live music and dancing. However, during the week you can find a menu of locally sourced produce used to create Korean fusion menu. Dishes range from mushroom and pecan rolls, crispy fried eggs with kimchi, and Korean BBQ tempeh.
