This London Bridge pub on Borough High Street is well-known for its affordable roast dinners which come served with all the trimmings! Opt for roast beef, pork belly with crispy skin, lemon and thyme chicken with crispy bacon or their delightful vegan wellington – which are all priced at just £15.95. It’s also worth noting that St Christopher’s Inn does £5 cocktails all day on Monday if you fancy after work drinks that won’t break the bank!

ICCO - The People’s Pizzeria

This is the definition of an affordable eatery in London. Offering pizza from £3.95 to £8.75, this is a fantastic find! Offering sides for as little as £2.95 as well as smoothies and desserts, we love it here at The People’s Pizzeria. Sit in or takeaway, this is an ever popular London spot, ideal for a team post-work dinner or cheeky lunch stop.

An epic space in the heart of Southbank, serving good value for money authentic Polish food. An epic spot serving the likes of Polish dumplings and craft Polish beer in a terrific setting. With long bench seating and tall ceilings, this is another great find for groups or fun date nights. Mamuśka also host regular events, with things like live music on holidays, free dessert on Mother’s Day as well as live streaming matches.

Mamma Dough Brixton is a popular budget-friendly option for families due to their fantastic kid’s menu with pizzas from just £3.50 or their kid’s meal deal which includes an ice cream and a Margherita for only a fiver! On the main menu, adults can choose from classic sourdough pizzas such as the Marinara (for just £8!) or opt for more adventurous topping selections such as their Double Pep and Hot Honey or the New Green Life which is a truffle-y vegan delight – and very reasonably priced.

Fantastic tasting Indian cuisine? Check. A wide range of main courses for under £10? Check. Bottles of wine from just £21? Check! This popular Indian restaurant in Ealing Common serves all the curry house classics including Bombay Butter Chicken, Jalfrezi, Biryani, Tikka Masala and more – with most dishes hovering around the £8-12 mark. And if you’re in the mood for a mix-and-match meal, Indian Villa also offers a fabulous buffet on Sundays from 1-9pm.

Located on Tooting High Street is Jaffna House – the oldest Sri Lankan restaurant in London, serving authentic dishes for over 30 years. Make sure to book on a Friday because this day is reserved for the amazing thali – a set meal of 12 items for £9.95 (veg), £10.95 (chicken) or £11.45 (mutton). The intimate atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes prepared by the same chefs for over 20 years, make Jaffna House an iconic dining experience.

Over in Battersea is a vibrant neighbourhood trattoria, Buona Sera, who serve up authentic Italian dishes at amazing prices! Pasta fans can tuck into hearty dishes such as lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs for just £11.90, whilst pizza lovers can opt for a range of pizzas at fantastic prices – including a traditional Margherita for just £10.90! This vibrant Cuban restaurant will put a smile on your face for many reasons. Firstly, Cubana does an incredible mixed tapas sharing plate for only £20 which is perfect if you fancy some traditional Cuban light bites on a budget.
