Meat feast

The menu at Bare Grills is far from your run of the mill average burger joint and is an absolute crowd pleaser. The Bristol venue features sharing towers, a kids menu, burgers, dirty fries and even vegan options. What’s even better is that the Bare Grills team also offers a number of fantastic sides of all the things you want, but normally can never buy off a menu, such as “Brisket Burnt Ends”.

The burgers are jam-packed full of the good stuff. The Filthy Pig features two 110g homemade beef patties, melted cheese, bacon, topped with 12-hour hickory smoked pulled pork and BBQ sauce, all in beautiful brioche. The Mississippi Prawns, meanwhile, are cooked in a gorgeous combo of garlic, chilli and lime, perfect for those who aren’t fancying hardcore meat for dinner.

Drinks

At Bare Grills, you can also find cracking classic cocktails, all at the affordable price of £7, as well as epic shakes from Kinder Beuno to harder shakes such as the Jack Daniels Honey blended with vanilla ice cream. There really is something for everyone here.

Challenge

Apart from the epic menu, which is of course in true Bristol style sourced as locally as possible, Bare Grills hosts the infamous Bare Grills Food Challenge. The challenge is 60 minutes to totally finish a monster plate of everything, including a full rack of ribs and chicken wings.

If you manage to finish the lot without any help and no cheating, it’s on the house. If you lose, it’s £50 please! Worth noting, if you’re feeling brave and up to the challenge either solo or with a group of mates, it is best to contact the restaurant team beforehand so they can prepare.

More than one

We should also let you know that Bare Grills is not only in Bristol. You can find the cracking venue in Taunton, as well as Weston-Super-Mare and most recently Bath, which has very recently opened!

Bare Grills is definitely a meat eaters paradise, but with everything in mind from the sharing towers to kids menu, from vegan options to the food challenge, there really is something for everyone here in this super fun, super tasty eatery.

We love it here and can’t recommend it enough – just make sure you are hungry when you arrive, and save space for a shake at the end!
