Destination menus have been at the heart of Six by Nico’s ever-evolving offerings over the past six years, with this the first time the team have relinquished control to customers, coming as both a surprise and challenge, which Nico has delivered in his perfect signature style.

Through immersing in the never-ending souks of Marrakech and taking inspiration from local restaurants and chefs in Lisbon, Nico and the team crafted two six-plate offerings that pay tribute to both cities, cuisines and people, each dish inspired by a delicious discovery tasted on the trip.

Starting the journey by sampling the flavours and spices in Morrocco before moving onto the bold and hearty flavours of Lisbon, each menu blends tradition and innovation whilst being presented with love.

Founder, Nico Simeone commented: “Six years is a tremendous achievement for us, and we wanted to mark the occasion accordingly.

Our challenge was to create not one but two menus in only 60 hours following our trip to Marrakesh and Lisbon, as voted for by our customers.

With the tales of the locals and taste of the ingredients still lingering in our minds, we were able to create two menus that we believe are worthy to celebrate our sixth year, with the iconic offering a taste of what’s to come.”

‘Marrakech & Lisbon’ is priced at £48 per person with the option to enjoy an expertly selected wine and specialist drinks pairing for an additional £35 at each restaurant. As always, there is a vegetarian alternative available for every course – with tasty alternatives including Caramelised Cauliflower Veloute with Rose Harissa & Coriander Dressing from the Marrakesh menu, and Goats Cheese & Espelette Pepper Croquette from Lisbon’s offering.

Diners can book a table now to discover the unique and memorable ‘Marrakech & Lisbon’ food experience, which will be on offer for six weeks from 10th April – 21st May, noon to night. Bookings are now open for all restaurant locations, with Marrakech cooking at Canary WharfManchester and Dublin, and Lisbon cooking at Aberdeen, BelfastEdinburgh and Fitzrovia.
