Immerse yourself in the lights of Sydney’s Vivid festival from the best seat in the house – aboard a catamaran yacht in Sydney Harbour – and then be wined and dined at Walsh Bay favourite Ventuno.
After a two-year absence because of you-know-what, the team at Ventuno are determined that you should experience all the stunning artistic lights of Vivid Sydney from the water as well as from its bay side venue.
The Vivid Progressive Dinner Cruise will start with drinks and canapes at Ventuno before you board the MV Coast catamaran yacht and enjoy a 45-minute harbour cruise. After alighting you will head back to Ventuno for a three-course set menu dinner from head chef Adam Spencer, all with matching wines.
You’ll also get a chance to experience the spectacular light and art installations at Walsh Bay itself. This year there will be a floating boardwalk with 150 huge, transparent, illuminated spheres designed to take you back to your childhood and remind you of a giant bubble bath.
There will also be floral sentinels lining the edge of Walsh Bay. Their illuminated petals will mechanically unfurl casting colour over the landscape, and they are designed to remind us of the wonder of nature as well as to let the light in!
The Ventuno dinner cruises are on June 1 and June 8, begin at 6pm, cost $255 per person and you can book here.
Vivid Sydney runs from May 27 to June 18, and there’s lots on the agenda, all designed to get you back out and about in our fabulous city.
