Located in the British Airway 360 on Brighton Beach, West Beach is one not to be missed in Brighton. Their chefs are passionate about showcasing local ingredients, and especially seafood. Expect to find comfort in traditional seaside favourites such as mussels, langoustines, catches of the day, and many more succulent dishes. And don’t miss out on their desserts menu, their Brighton creme brulee served with burnt salted caramel is too good to be true.

Over the years, GB1 has become one of Brighton’s firm favourite and it’s easy to see why. Located in the luxurious Grand Brighton hotel, the two AA restaurant offers a fantastic choice of freshly caught seafood from Brighton’s shores. With a menu that changes seasonally, these guys cook simple English dishes with contemporary touches and a great quality. Their striking lobster burger is a must try, as is the fruits de mer, and oysters! But in all honesty, anything off the menu is guaranteed to please. If you’re not such a huge fan of seafood, order their grilled meat or surprising vegetarian dishes, at GB1 there is one for everyone’s taste.

If you’re looking for something a tiny bit different than your average seafood, check this one out. Located in the heart of bustling Brighton, this authentic Italian restaurant is a brand new concept in town that comprises a restaurant and a cafe. And if you thought Italian dishes are only made of pasta or pizza, you’re wrong. Order their filetto di salmone, branzino or tagliatelle ai gamberi, you’re going to say Prego! Edendum is a small slice of Italy transported directly to Brighton and definitely one of the best seafood restaurants in Brighton. PS: to all the students out there, they’ve got a pretty good discount for you!

Only the freshest of the seafood makes it into Murmur. Located in the Arches on Brighton seafront overlooking the West Pier, this all day dining restaurant serves all kinds of British dishes as well as a delicious range of fresh seasonal seafood. They can (and should) be accompanied by a tasty selection of fresh wines. Sink your teeth into their lobster croquettes, cured salmon, fresh oysters, or roast coad. And if the weather is not too bad, enjoy your meal on their beautiful terrace overlooking the beach: the full Brighton seafood experience.

While the menu is not strictly seafood, Curry Leaf Cafe deserves a mention because the fish that’s on offer is simply superb. This Indian restaurant offers traditional street food as well as more substantial meals. Dine in and sample their mangalorean fish cake, chilli fish naan wrap, or their masala fish & chips, while sipping on a delicious wine from their exclusively international selection. Also, they’ve got lots of vegetarian and vegan options so there’s no reason not to go!
