Brighton is a romantic city with a creative vibe, the sea, the lanes, and the incredible food make it one of the best places to find romantic restaurants. Sometimes you just want to go back to basics and woo your other half, and you’re in the right city for it. With so many restaurants, Brighton can be a little bit overwhelming when thinking of where to go for dinner. But, we’re here to help. Here’s a list of some of the most romantic restaurants in Brighton.

A wine shop and bar all in one, Ten Green Bottles is a great place for a romantic evening for two. They source small, award-winning producers of wine that don’t usually get the attention they deserve since they’re producing wine in such small quantities. You’ll have a casual evening trying out some different wines with insights from knowledgeable staff, all while enjoying a cheese board including cheeses from Spain, Berkshire, Normandy and more. Their charcuterie selection is also just as delightful, have a taste of everything, even their desserts which are especially made for them by Boho Gelato.

We know it’s another wine bar, but we had to put Plateau on the list, their passion for quality ingredients absolutely shines through on their menu. Their wines are carefully sourced, and you can enjoy a nibble of their organic sicilian olives, or their pork and duck liver terrine. The main plates are also just as delicious, expect dishes such as coal roast Plaice with spiced lentils, and poached chicken breast with hamstock and cavelonero. One of our favourite dishes is the bbq broccoli with crispy capers and yoghurt. If you have room for dessert, you have to try their walnut tart with chantilly cream. Romance really ain’t dead in a place like Plateau.
