Private dining in Belfast

This popular Italian is one of those places that will please everyone in your group. With everything from pizzas and pasta, to pork fillet and steaks, no one is going to go hungry if you head here. If you’re looking for private dining in Belfast with a bit of a twist, we recommend booking their mezzanine level, that seats 50 covers, and grabbing some of their tasty sharing dishes like miniature dough balls with garlic and parsley butter, or getting some cicchetti (small snacks and side dishes).

This upmarket venue is the perfect place to go for a celebration. Their private dining room is intimate, and yet at 24 seats, it’s big enough to fit most of your pals into. With plates like loin of monkfish, and crispy globe artichoke with parsley puree, broad beans, and truffle cream, it’s great for pushing the boat out. If you really want to go all out, start off with their famous snacks section, featuring treats like crispy whitebait and spicy padron peppers. This has got to be a “shu-in” for inclusion on your list.

The chef owner of all Deanes restaurants, Michael Deane, has held a Michelin star for 13 years, so you know that wherever you end up, the food is going to be great. The Private Room at Deanes holds between 15-50 people and even has its own cocktail bar. Choose three options from their 3,3,3 menu, where you pick three options per course and create a delicious menu for yourself. Their Valrhona chocolate pot with salted caramel and pecans is one of our favourite desserts in the city and if private dining in Belfast is what you want, it doesn’t get better than this.

If you think you need something a bit more private than a room off the main restaurant, then perhaps your own floor would interest you? At Hadskis, that’s exactly what you get; a room on the floor above the restaurant where you can make merry till your heart’s content. This tastefully decorated space comes with its own menu featuring three courses for just £27.50. Guests can choose from starters like pea and mint soup or crispy squid, and mains like a charcoal grilled ribeye, or picchiatelli, oyster mushroom, and crispy leeks. You Hadski try it out!
