Paisley's Food and Drink festival returned at the weekend

The popular food and drink festival returned to Paisley this weekend. The two-day extravaganza – one of Scotland’s largest outdoor food and drink festivals – took place in the stunning surroundings of the town’s iconic Abbey on Friday and Saturday.

Visitors enjoyed a stellar lineup with more than 30 traders showcasing the finest street food, licensed bars, live music, entertainment and fun for all ages in the town centre.

The Platform independent street food market returned to this year’s Paisley Food and Drink Festival, bringing with it a whole host of delicious street food traders.

Among the many highlights were Kochchi Sri Lankan Street Food, Hector & Harriet artisan food, coffee and cocktails, Moskito Spanish Bites, and British Street Food Award Winner 2020, The Peruvian.

This was Platform’s first outdoor event with ‘Platform on Tour’ since 2019. It brought together eight of Scotland’s best street food traders, a colourful range of furniture and DJs playing live music for foodies.

On top of the beer, The Deer’s Head is providing a special snack menu for visitors to enjoy. On offer, is a selection of traditional food and regular favourites from the ground floor pub sure to keep you satisfied throughout your session.

Under the stylish stretch tents, guests gathered to enjoy a range of Innis & Gunn craft beers and summer cocktails to wash down their delicious food. The varied range of delicious food on offer included gluten-free, halal, vegetarian and vegan options, catering for all tastes.
