Nu Delhi Restaurant Lounge wins top award

Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2022

Over 2,370 restaurants and takeaways across the UK were nominated by restaurant goers and food lovers for the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2022, including Nu Delhi Restaurant Lounge that was up for Restaurant of the Year.

The UK’s best Asian restaurants and takeaways were revealed at the Asian Restaurant & Takeaways 2022 (ARTA) recently on 2nd October, celebrating the hottest venues and chefs from across the country’s industry – as well as from across the pond.

Held at the InterContinental Hotel at The O2-London, the event was hosted by BBC journalist and broadcaster Samantha Simmonds and magician and member of the Magic Circle, Paul Martin.

Belfast’s Nu Delhi Restaurant Lounge came away with the coveted award of Restaurant of the Year for Northern Ireland at the prestigious food awards.

The coveted awards are in recognition of the UK’s best South Asian cuisine across a series of prestigious regional and national categories. From the National Champion of the Champions, Regional Restaurant of the Year to Takeaways and Newcomer of the Year, it spotlights the pinnacle of over 2,000 restaurants and takeaways across the UK that were nominated by the restaurant goers and food lovers.
