Who's new to Dish Cult this month?
Every month we pull together a roundup of some of our favourite new places on Dish Cult where you can start booking tables. October’s got some blockbuster newcomers, including steak in London, pizza in Bristol, glamping in shepherd’s huts in the Cotswolds and loads more!
If you love live sports, chicken wings, juicy burgers and proper craft beer, well then you’re in luck because Wings & Beer Co. in Preston offers all of that and more! What could be more than any of that? How about ciders, real cocktails and fresh coffee all for good measure!
Wild Carrot is one of the most exciting new additions to Dish Cult because this unique cafe in Manor Farm Barn in Tetbury, Gloucestershire not only offers amazing breakfasts and lunches, but their indulgent menu also includes coffee, cake, ice cream, smoothies, snacks and an unmissable bar at the Old Barn where you can let your hair down with some cocktails. Make a day of it with a bike tour and/or a night of it with a stay in a Norwegian Tipi set in its own private glade, or a shepherds hut nestled amongst the trees. Magical.
Pickle & Rye in East Sheen, London offers the best classic American food in the area. You’ll find yourself drooling over the sandwich selection and salivating some more over their burgers. Run by husband and wife team Alex and Val, the duo have created one of the most popular dining spots in town. You can book for brunch, lunch or dinner, where you’ll find burgers with all the trimmings, eggs the way you like them and all those American comfort foods we know and love.
Situated on Whiteladies Road, Bristol, Flour & Ash brings you fresh, wood-fired sourdough pizza, small plates, cocktails, wine and craft beer. What’s not to love? The tomato-based pizza highlights include the Maple Glazed Pineapple and the Double Pep (Fior di latte, pepperoni, peppers, pickled chilli and parmesan), while the no tomato pizzas feature the richly tempting Ox Cheek & Red Wine Ragu.
Did you know you can now book a steak night through Dish Cult to one of London’s most popular steak restaurants? Flat Iron has a number of locations across the city, including London Bridge. Since 2012, this no-nonsense steakhouse has been feeding hungry Londoners with their tender, juicy and easily accessible (not eye-wateringly expensive) cuts of meat. The Flat Iron Steak is just £12 (yes, you read that correctly) and can be ordered alongside a number of sides, wines and/or cocktails.
James Thomson’s The Witchery by the Castle is the most spectacularly atmospheric dining destination in Edinburgh, and now you can book a table through Dish Cult with ResDiary! For 50 years now diners have been stunned by the décor, legendary food and award-winning wine and this much-loved Edinburgh institution. Dine in the rich baroque surroundings of the original oak-panelled Witchery or among the elegant candle-lit charms of the Secret Garden. There are also nine theatrical suites — perfect for those looking to stay in the most indulgent settings.
