NQ64 is coming to Glasgow
NQ64 has been a huge hit in Edinburgh and across the UK. Now gamers in Glasgow will be able to play the likes of Guitar Hero, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, Pacman, Space Invaders and more.
A popular late night arcade game bar is set to open in Glasgow with the arrival of NQ64. The venue is already a massive hit in Edinburgh and other parts of the UK, including Birmingham, Cardiff, Liverpool and Manchester.
NQ64 features dozens of old school video games and classic consoles. Entry to NQ64 is free and a token system gives gamers access to the likes of Guitar Hero, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, Pacman, Space Invaders and more. Consoles include the Playstation, SNES, Sega Mega Drive and Nintendo 64.
And if the Glasgow venue is going to be anything similar to the one on the east coast, then expect it to be decked out in graffiti and neon lights, with a number of game-themed cocktails and craft beers.
Describing the venues, the owners have said: “Welcome to NQ64, neon splattered drinking dens full of retro arcade games and classic consoles. We take as much pride in our drinks selection as we do in our games.
“Enjoy the perfect combo of sipping on game-themed cocktails or craft beers, whilst button bashing to victory against your mates.”
A location and opening date is yet to be revealed, with their Glasgow Instagram page teasing they are ‘coming soon’, but we’re expecting the exciting new bar to begin welcoming gamers in February.
