Enjoy a taste of Lancashire this festive period, with the Walled Garden Restaurant at Barton Manor Hotel. There’s a fabulous festive menu served from 12pm to 9pm daily from 30th November through to 30th December (excludes Christmas Day and Boxing Day).

The restaurant occupies the area of the gardens originally planned to be a walled vegetable garden. Ninety years later, with the addition of a roof, the space was transformed into a leading Lancashire restaurant.
The gorgeous new festive menu at the Walled Garden restaurant allows diners the choice of three courses for £27.95 or two courses for £22.95.

For starters, guests can choose from chef’s homemade soup of the day, potted chicken liver pate, poached salmon and parmesan tartlet, or watermelon and pineapple salad.
For the main course, there’s a choice of butter thyme roasted breast of turkey, panfried fillet of seabass, slow cooked blade of beef, or roasted red pepper and tomato linguine.

If you do opt for dessert, there’s a wonderful selection of Barton Manor sticky toffee pudding, Christmas pudding, vanilla crème brûlée, and cinnamon poached pineapple.
The menu can be made vegetarian / vegan-friendly, gluten-free and dairy-free as well. Just let the team know in advance.

Head chef Dan Francis is the creative force behind the menu and it’s one that’s certainly got our mouths watering.
