This Mediterranean/Spanish restaurant in Chorlton is simply exquisite. This is a true dining retreat in the great Northern city, beautifully decorated and designed to make it look and feel like a little bit of Spain in Manchester. Bar San Juan is a tapas bar restaurant offering great Spanish beer with a menu that is truly fabulous. We recommend the Croquetas San Juan, Tortilla Espanola and Calamares pil pil from the tapas selection.
This Brazilian steakhouse serves gorgeous food and provides a unique dining experience. It offers plenty of scrumptious meat options, from honey pork to filet mignon. But it also has a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options that are just as splendid, such as the spinach, blue cheese and pumpkin risotto. If you want friendly and helpful service with delightful food for a special South American experience, then the Fazenda Rodizio will not disappoint!
MyLahore originally started in Bradford in 2002 and was a way for the owners to support their studies and to help the family. It has been one of Manchester’s finest restaurants ever since and is a vital part of the Curry Mile. The menu is thoroughly diverse and will only delight you. This is because the menu is influenced mainly from Lahore, Pakistan but it is also shaped by Yorkshire and Australian cuisine, providing a fascinating mix.
Not far from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station you can find this exquisite restaurant inside the Dakota Hotel. If you’re thinking of going on a city weekend break, Dakota has you covered! Known for its lavish style fine dining and gorgeous food, it’s a perfect place to treat yourself to a cocktail with steak frites on the beautiful terrace. Situated in the centre between the Odeon cinema complex and Oxford Road Train Station is WOOD Manchester – the must visit Michelin star restaurant. Curated by former MasterChef winner Simon Wood, his restaurant focuses on excellence and expertise. Tailoring to the customer’s dietary preferences, you can either opt for a seven or 10 course meal. Your host will take you to the lounge where you enjoy snacks before the main courses commence. It’s an experience that’ll live long in the memory.
Situated by Parsonage Gardens in Deansgate, Gaucho is a must on this list. This is an Argentinian steak and wine restaurant, situated in a converted church. Incredibly, it even has a massive church organ inside! It’s lavish and gob-smackingly beautiful. The open kitchen is very cool, so you can watch your juicy steak being cooked. The restaurant also hosts DJ brunches called ‘Electro Brunches’, which are great fun. It’s an impressive place that deserves a visit.
