Dublin restaurant Mad Egg to open in new location

Popular Dublin restaurant chain Mad Egg has announced that it’s preparing to open in another location in Dublin. Excited? We are too!

The owners took to social media to give fans of the fried chicken chain a hint of the new premises, revealing that the fifth Mad Egg restaurant will be opening soon.

Posting a photo outside the new restaurant onto its Instagram page, Mad Egg teased its followers into guessing where the new eatery will be and a lot of the answers were matching.

Most people guessed that Mad Egg will be opening in Liffey Vally Shopping Centre by the looks of what the restaurant posted.

Since opening its first two restaurants in 2018, Mad Egg has taken Dublin by storm. Dundrum Town Centre followed in 2019 and then Blanchardstown.

The restaurant, which hails itself as “Ireland’s first free-range fried chicken joint”, is well known for its chicken burgers such as The Hun (with chilli lime slaw, sweet Hoisin sauce, spicy fried shallot and garlic crisps), The Heartbreaker (with dripping cheese, Mad Egg Jalapeño hot sauce and pickles) and the Hot Chick (with hot dust, Mad Egg Jalapeño hot sauce, pickles and chilli and lime slaw).

Mad Egg also serves up a range of chicken tenders and fries, and is also popular for its DIY cheesecake.
