XS Espresso is a café, but not like the other cafés. The food is big, bold and colourful – and the same can be said of their Lotus biscoff pancakes. Dripping in chocolate sauce and prettied up with edible flowers they’re the perfect way to fill yourself up before you spend the day burning it off and work up an appetite just in time for dinner.

Also on the menu: pumpkin and halloumi salad with king prawns, the XS @StickItToEmSis looks with poached eggs, zucchini and grilled tomatoes, and their signature ricotta hotcake with fresh fruit and maple syrup. Sexy food to lift the mood.

As the name suggests this is a neat little joint turning out BIG food. From the Burgers piled high, to the mega breakfast bowls, and the oversized plates of avo smash, poached eggs and every other lush breakfast food under the Sydney sun.

Food is definitely the priority but anyone who lives within a 5km radius will tell you their Campos coffee hits the spot too. There’s also T2 tea, smoothies, and a heavenly affogato made with genuine gelato supplied by the Italian cake shop up the road.

Lotus biscoff is crunchy caramelly goodness that’s been doing the rounds since 1932, and if Sydney Foodies have anything to do with it, it’s only just getting started.
