KONG bounced onto the nightlife scene at the beginning of 2022, offering a lively atmosphere, sensational drinks, and good times seven days a week from 12pm to 3am. This makes it the perfect place to unwind after work or catch up with friends and party into the night. 

The venue features two stylish bars and event spaces, three open-air terraces and a late night club. Upon entry, you will be impressed at the decadent design, furnishings of the lounge and mood lighting, which makes KONG stand out against other bars in the city centre. 

The KONG Garden is nestled on Royal Exchange Square and features beautiful foliage making it the perfect place to relax with a cocktail and enjoy the sunshine in the afternoon whilst people watching.  

KONG is also available for private hire for parties, corporate networking events, and cocktail events that are seeking an elegant, impressive venue.

KONG main bar 

The KONG main bar oozes elegance and features custom designed mood lighting and a luxurious extensive bar packed with craft beers, innovative cocktails and universal wine offerings

A large section of the drinks menu is dedicated to classic cocktails that are sure to cater to everyone’s favourites. Some of the cocktails you can expect include mojitos, margaritas, mai tais, daiquiris and porn star martinis. When it comes to spritz, offerings include an Aperol Spritz, Bellini and St Germain. 

KONG has also created ‘twisted classics’, which are perfect for those seeking something a bit different when it comes to drinking. The KONG Club is made from red berry Ciroc, lemon and Aquafaba. The KONGARITA, meanwhile, incorporates Patron Silver, coconut, pineapple, lime and salt, which will transport you to Hawaii. 

KONG also caters to those who want to enjoy a cocktail, but minus the hangover with its range of non-alcoholic cocktails. Sweet and Sour is a shaken mix of pineapple, lemon, almond and Aquafaba. Ginger and Raspberry Nojito is another popular option and is a fusion of honey, ginger, lime, raspberry, sparkling apple soda and mint. Or indulge in a Chocolate Orange Espresso – Seedlip spice, cold brew, orange, hazelnut and Aquafaba. 

Of course, there is also a wide list of wines, vodkas, gins, tequila, whiskeys liqueurs, beers and ciders that can be found on the drinks menu, too.

The Salon

The Salon is situated behind the main bar and features a large marble bar with a bespoke hand-blown glass pantry. It is popular amongst those looking for a refined night out such as catching up with friends in a relaxed environment. The Salon also makes for the perfect date venue thanks to its cosy relaxing suede booths and atmospheric lighting. 

Here you’ll find exclusive cocktails including Day of the Dead Espresso and Magnum Opus. The former is made of Don Julio 1942, Kaluha, Cold Brew Coffee, chocolate, orange and Aquafaba, whereas the latter is a cocktail of Johnnie Walker Odyssey, lemon, tamarind, cinnamon and Peychaud. 

Club KONG

Bar by day, club by night – come along and celebrate the weekend every week at Club KONG with DJs playing live every Friday and Saturday from 10pm. KONG boasts a 3am licence meaning you can party till the early hours while enjoying the sights, sounds and flavours exclusive to this stylish bar. Some of the big DJ names include Domsko, Lewis Donnelly and Jimmy and Ciar McKinley who are renowned within the Glasgow nightlife scene. 

Club KONG is even available for exclusive hire from Sunday to Saturday with a capacity of up to 200 guests and it even comes complete with your own private terrace. The perfect venue for big celebrations.

KONG Kitchen
