Enveloped in an elegant and warm ambience from your first step in the door, Cocktails and Steaks sets the tone for a knock-out evening right off the bat. Modern and inviting furnishings settle you into your table, with heavy furniture to sink your body into and exposed brick and beams giving off a contemporary cosy vibe. The soft, warm lighting offers the right mood for a romantic evening with a partner or lively evening with nearest and dearest. The aroma of steak and trimmings is engulfing in the best way possible and will instantly cause some watering mouths.
Cocktails and Steaks ethos is to deliver a fantastic dining experience whatever the occasion or reason to visit and that precedence is set from the moment you’re seated. Expect a harmonious blend of sophistication and conviviality, which is felt through the soft smooth background music and lively helpful staff who are only a second away when needed.

Obviously, the cocktail list is unrivalled by anywhere nearby. Cocktails and Steaks expert mixologists have crafted innovative and classic cocktails for each and every kind of guest. Sip on a perfectly balanced Old Fashioned, a refreshing Mojito, or venture into adventurous territory with a signature mix exclusive to their bar – our favourites being The Butcher’s Wife (a dry gin, Aperol, lemon, vanilla and elderflower), the Everdeane Sour (Irish whiskey, elderflower, lemon and cucumber), and the Rhubarb and Custard with rhubarb and ginger gin, creme de mure, lemon, foaming bitters, and vanilla.
All the classics are readily available, whether you’re a bramble, margarita, or sours kind of drinker. Otherwise, Cocktails and Steaks create a deliciously good mocktail too! Choose between a Berry Smash, Pink Lemonade, Nojito, or November Breeze.
The bar also boasts an extensive wine list, with both local and international selections to pair with your meal.

As a steakhouse and bar, it’s no surprise Cocktails and Steaks knows how to serve up a perfect steak – but their menu is also so much more!
Start your meal with a selection of entrees before diving into the deep end. We like to share a variation of starts such as their scallops with a bacon crumb, watermelon and feta salad, chicken and bacon terrine, and honey and thyme baked camembert with their unforgettable red onion chutney.
Finally, it’s time for mains. Take your pick of the Butcher’s Cuts, which include a flat iron, sirloin, rib-eye, fillet, or T-bone, all cooked to your preferred doneness, and served with a side and sauce or butter. There’s mash, hand-cut chips, skinny fries, beer-battered onion rings, truffle mac and cheese, spinach and garlic, honey-glazed carrots, garlic prawns, sautéed mushrooms, and truffle and parmesan fries – hungry yet?
All the usual suspects come in under the sauce menu, our favourites being the creamy pepper sauce and Cocktail and Steaks special Butcher’s Sauce.

If steak really isn’t your thing, worry not, there are plenty of options to keep everyone happy. The braised feather blade of beef is served with mash, caramelised onion puree, honey glazed baby carrots and a decadent red wine jus, or the pork fillet seared on the Josper with a black pudding Bon Bon, fondant potato, tender stem broccoli and a sweet apple puree. If a burger is more your speed, choose between the classic handmade beef burger with Monterey jack cheese, burger sauce, and tomato, or the Southern Fried Chicken Burger with chilli jam, lettuce and tomato.
The catch of the day is for the seafood lovers, served fresh and tailored daily. And for the veggie-eaters, try the red pesto linguine with red pepper, courgette and blue cheese.
