Enjoy live music, sports and easy dining at Fletcher's

Looking for the perfect Sunday spot in Liverpool? Fletcher’s offers the ideal setting for a relaxing end to the weekend; big-screen sports, live music, delicious food and ice-cold drinks with a tranquil backdrop. What more could you want?

Fletcher’s first opened in 2018 on the grounds of the beautiful Allerton Manor Golf Club. The bar and eatery is named after the one and only Fletcher Family who built the manor house back in the 1800s. The story goes that Jacob Fletcher purchased the 150-acre land and built the manor, where he and his family resided until 1944, when a fire broke out, causing significant damage to the house. Allerton Manor was left unattended for many years until 2015, when Green Circle Estates decided to give it a new lease of life to turn it into the picturesque place it is today.

Open to everyone

Despite the lavish name and luxury setting, it is open to everyone, not just members, and you can even bring your dog! Fletcher’s is the perfect place for golfers to relax with a cold one after a day on the 18-hole championship course (how impressive). It’s also become a favourite amongst the locals who visit for the great atmosphere, big screens, tasty food, and of course, the massive selection of draught beers, wine, spirits and cocktails.

Marquee signing

In the summer of 2020, Fletcher’s al fresco beer garden opened and became one of the go-to spots in Liverpool when the sun was kind enough to come out. The space has now been winterized, as the owners have recently installed a wind-proof, heated marquee in the beer garden that can accommodate up to 250 people. So now you can enjoy the beautiful game while indulging in some mouthwatering pizza and an ice-cold alcoholic beverage of your choice without the risk of frozen fingers.

Live action

The outside space attracts people from all over Merseyside, including sports enthusiasts, who can watch any live sports events on Sky Sports and BT Sport. It’s also a live music lover’s haven, as some of the best Liverpool-based musicians and singers perform every Friday 5-8pm and Sunday 1-5pm.

Seasonal favourites

While you enjoy the selection of entertainment, you can browse the menu, which is ever-changing with the seasons. Currently, they are still offering their Christmas selection, which includes the ever-popular Salt and Pepper Box with duck and orange spring rolls, salt and pepper pigs in blankets, crispy chicken goujons and fries. Other festive favourites include the Christmas Feast pizza and the Festive Supreme Burger.

In the past year, Fletcher’s have hosted some spectacular seasonal events, including Oktoberfest. Over Christmas, they screened classic movies, invited families to meet Santa’s reindeers and introduced their Christmasfest celebrations with live music galore. On New Year’s Eve, they went all out with their event ‘Fletcher’s Goes to Hollywood’, where guests were treated to live music, talented DJs and even a free cocktail or pint on entry. So, if you are looking for somewhere to celebrate Valentine’s Day or Easter, keep your eyes peeled, as the creative and forever-friendly Fletcher’s staff will definitely have something up their sleeve.

Fletcher’s welcome walk-ins, however it can get fairly busy on the weekend, so it’s best to book in advance and get a good spot in front of the big screen or as close as you can get to the bar!
