If you’re into your crêpes (who isn’t?), then you’re going to love this guide. We have compiled a list of our favourite eateries around Ireland offering some of the most delicious crêpes. Whatever toppings you prefer with yours, we guarantee you’re going to adore this guide to Ireland’s best crêpes.
The Revolution is a California-inspired, neighbourhood restaurant in Rathgar, offering artisan stone-baked pizzas, tacos, craft beers, wines and weekend brunches. The brunch menu is filled with savoury delights like BBQ pulled Benedict and hearty breakfast burgers, as well as some tempting sweet treats, including crepes! Topped with orange-infused mascarpone, fresh berries, toasted almonds and drizzled in a caramel sauce, they are indulgent and moreish.
The Upper Deck opened in 2018 above the award-winning pub, The Yacht Clontarf. Since then it has become synonymous with glamour and luxury, making it a go-to spot to enjoy cocktails with friends or a leisurely weekend brunch. With a focus on locally sourced ingredients from small-scale producers, the menus are seasonal and innovative. At brunch time, you might be tempted by the silky eggs florentine or even the sweet potato fritters with tobacco onion compote — but it’s the crepes that truly stand out. Topped with white chocolate, toasted nuts and berries, they’re well-balanced and satisfying. What’s not to like?
Lark Cafe is a family (and dog!) friendly cafe that offers up simple, but super fresh and flavourful plates of food. The coffee here is exceptional, and so too are the homemade baked goods (not least the nostalgic Rice Krispie square bars!). The brunch menu is equally excellent, and there’s something to suit all taste buds. The crepes are beautifully made; delicate and light, they’re topped simply with Nutella and strawberries. There’s a great value for money menu for kids, and plenty on offer for vegans and veggies too.
