Founded in 2018 by former social worker Anna Anderson, Kindred is a beautifully restored, Grade II-listed coworking space, restaurant and cultural events venue in Hammersmith. Situated on Bradmore Square, right next to Hammersmith tube station, Kindred’s mission is to gather West Londoners together in real life to create authentic human connections. And with a draw as good as Cellar’s, it’s hard to resist…

Open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, Kindred isn’t your typical workspace. These guys offer the neighbourhood an opulent, dog-friendly spot to work and ‘workalise’ – while enjoying the hospitality, and food and drink for which they are renowned.
With a focus on freelancers, remote workers and entrepreneurs, Kindred gives West Londoners the chance to escape the mundane all for just £13 a day. For an additional £10, coworkers can enjoy unlimited hot drinks and a choice of soup, salads and sandwiches for lunch. The space hosts a daily coffee break at 11am with free coffee included to help get workers energised and connected with the friendly Kindred community.
Finishing at 5pm, there are often events on in the evening, and every Friday coworkers are encouraged to gather for the ‘Thank Five It’s Friday’ social where the first drink is on the house.
Kindred doesn’t just offer a space, but somewhere to belong.

As well as a coworking space, Kindred is home to Cellar – an all-day restaurant providing locally roasted coffee, simple (but very delicious) ingredient-focused food, sustainable European wines and seasonal cocktails.
Breakfast is served until 12pm, while brunch can be enjoyed until 3pm and the All Day Menu is served until late. The latter features amazing dishes such as the legendary double patty Kindred burger; Winter Mushroom Crumble with Garlic Ciabatta; and signature sharers like the 1/2 Roasted Yorkshire Wolds free-range chicken with harissa roasted garlic.
We personally love the Power Bowls though to keep you focused and energised for the rest of the day. It comes with avocado, carrots, chilli, spring onions, bean sprouts, coriander and a spicy sesame dressing, and you can choose your base (the udon noodles is our favourite). Extra toppings include grilled chicken thigh, two fried eggs or roasted vegetables.
Kindred is also committed to locally sourced products, offering coffee from Kiss The Hippo, craft beer from Two Tribes Brewery and juices from Battersea-based Squish.

Kindred hosts a multitude of exciting events throughout the year. Focusing on the pillars of food and drink, live music and performance, and ideas for a better tomorrow, the programme ranges from talks and workshops to gig showcases and spoken word nights. Come the evening, Kindred opens its doors as a nightlife venue, welcoming upcoming and established DJs and artists to showcase their talents and bring people together through music and dance.
Kindred also offers the Kindred Rising programme, for those passionate about finding and supporting the freshest musical talent from underrepresented artists. Whether you work in the industry, are looking to break into it, or just want to know about the best new musical talent breaking through, this monthly event gives everyone the chance to enjoy something new, all whilst enjoying delicious cocktails and bites from the late-night menu.
