The perfect places for stag dos in Bristol
Looking to plan the most epic stag do of your life? Perhaps it’s a big night out in Bristol or a more chilled wholesome vibe? Either way, we have you covered here at Dish Cult. Here’s our picks of awesome places in Bristol for stag dos!
Kongs of King Street is a super fun venue for those of you that want more of a wild stag night and perhaps like a bit of friendly competition. With retro arcade games lining the walls from Pac-man to Donkey Kong, as well as cracking DJ nights on weekends, Kongs of King Street is a great venue for good vibes and entertainment. With football tables and craft beers, this is a great spot to bring the guys.
On more of the wholesome, peaceful, quality time vibe, the Lido is a stunning venue that’s rather challenging to get into if you’re not a member due to the high demand but so worth it! Hidden in Clifton Village, the Lido has a stunning outdoor pool, spa, poolside bar and a fantastic award-winning restaurant. This is the ideal place to make an entire day of it with a swim, massage, and dinner. Alternatively you could grab yourself a stunning brunch from the Mediterranean menu post-morning swim whilst overlooking the pool. Absolute stag do bliss.
A venue with no menu and bring your own booze, Sky Kong Kong is a really fun spot for dinner that’s super social with long bench seating and serving Korean fusion food. Definitely something different to a classic sit down menu and perfect if you are a group that likes a drink. Ideal for the foodies amongst you too as all the dishes are organic gourmet, designed for sharing and the walls are lined with jars of fermenting food. Very niche and very yum.
Left Handed Giant Brew Pub is known to be the start of a very good night out amongst large groups. As an independent brewery in the centre of Bristol overlooking the harbour, it’s a very popular, buzzing venue. Serving woodfired pizza and local beers and cider on tap, this is a classic good night out. Again the seating is very social with long benches, as well as an entire top floor dedicated to a games room. You can even book a brewery tour if you are looking for a stag do activity!
For those of you that like to shake it, Revolucion de Cuba serves good food and good vibes right next to the water. With rum cocktails and salsa dancing, this is a great spot to move your night along to. With lots of space, ideal for large groups who want to dance, as well as tapas for those that are still hungry, this is a great vibe.
Is the group getting proper hungry and looking for a hearty, meaty meal? Look no further than Mugshot. This is a 1920s-themed venue serving steak, seafood and cracking drinks right by St Nicholas Market. The steak is served on a hot stone, so perfect for those who like their meat “just right”. The interior is dark with wood panelled rooms and chandeliers, ideal for dinner. There is also a secret cocktail bar called The Library that is part of Mugshot and only a short walk away, ideal for a pre-dinner drink or to carry on your night post-dinner with a similar vibe.
