Press Bros
cuisinesCoffee Shop

We all know coffee is the most important meal of the day. Using the infamous coffee specialists, Neighbourhood Coffee, the Press Bros know their way around everything from the frothiest of cappuccinos to the flattest of whites. You can find them in Baltic Market or on Lark Lane, just out of the city centre and near the beautiful Sefton Park. If you’d like a walk around the lake first thing in the morning, then we recommend the Lark Lane shop. You’ll also find tasty pastries and light breakfast bites.

It’s time to start lining your stomach before the big night out! Enjoy the relaxed vibe at Free State Kitchen and discover its HUGE secret garden at 1 Maryland Street, in the heart of Liverpool’s Cultural Quarter. If you’re in town and craving a bit of sun whilst you wait for your food, then Free State Kitchen is for you. The garden is an oasis tucked away a five minute walk out of the main city centre. The menu boasts burgers and American classics such as mac n’ cheese and loaded fries. These guys also serve the best sundaes around, including Biscoff (yum!) if you fancy something sweet, while you can also grab delicious cocktails if you want something a little stronger.

Liverpool Gin Distillery
cuisinesBar, Gin Distillery

When in Liverpool, you must go to the Liverpool Gin Distillery! This place produces its very own Liverpool Organic Gin range on-site in very impressive copper stills. You can go on a gin tasting or gin making experience here if you want to try something a bit different on your visit to Liverpool. Or, you can sit at the bar and sip on one of the award-winning gin and tonics instead before your night out. The Liverpool Gin Distillery is located on Castle Street, which is the heart of Liverpool’s classy bars, restaurants and club district, away from student central.

The Cavern Club
cuisinesLive Music

The Cavern Club is located on Matthew Street, a famous area lined with bars and nightclubs that are all pumping out live music from the best Liverpool has to offer. You’ll be spoilt for choice anywhere along this road, but we recommend heading straight to The Cavern Club. This famous place draws people in from far and wide because of the legendary musicians that have taken to the stage here, such as The Beatles, Adele, Arctic Monkeys and The Rolling Stones. An intimate, brick vaulted cellar with 1960s memorabilia hosts live tribute acts day and night. Be prepared to stand as there’s very little seating, but it does have such a great atmosphere and cheap draft beers, lagers and ciders as well as bottles for you to choose from. This is the most famous bar in Liverpool so it’s a must attend when visiting the city!
