Sure the original dates didn’t work out (damn you rain!), but this year’s edition of the Night Noodle Markets will now be held from October 12 to October 16 at a brand new location, Prince Alfred Park in Surry Hills.
The park will be transformed into a wonderland of Asian street food, going well beyond noodles, though they will definitely be on offer too.
Expect an open air extravaganza of eating opportunities with pop-up hawker style eateries and vendors including Hoy Pinoy, Flying Noodle, Wonderbao, Gelato Messina, Calabang and Teppanyaki Noodles, amongst many others. The full line-up is worth checking out on the website.
Drinks will be a major part of the event too, with a beer garden from Gage Roads, the Aperol Spritz Bar, Rekorderlig Cider’s Rekorder-land and Dan Murphy’s Zero% Bar for those who would rather nix the alcohol but not the taste.
It’s free to enter the markets and it’s all going to be family-friendly, dog-friendly fun, with live entertainment and plenty of picnic space available for you to sit back, relax and enjoy some of the best food and drink the city has to offer.
