Heliot Steak House, the premium destination restaurant in central London, has launched a brand new destination bar, The Balcony. With this exciting new launch, guests can now expect an upgraded dining experience thanks to new seasonal rotating menus. Featuring signature small plates, cocktails, spirits and an extensive wine list – with over 120 options – diners will want to return frequently to indulge in Executive Chef Ioannis Grammenos’ exciting dishes.

Located in the established Hippodrome Casino in the heart of Leicester Square, The Balcony at Heliot Steak House will provide guests with a dining experience like no other, overlooking the spectacular Grand Casino and the glitzy stage in a buzzing atmosphere.

The menu will change with the seasons – alternating every three months – with exciting themes in store for guests to enjoy and return for, including a trendy all vegan menu and a signature steak menu. The eight-cover bar is the perfect place to experience mouthwatering dishes and high-grade drinks, with great company in an exclusive setting, whether it’s for a quick light bite, or to tuck into the whole menu for a more substantial meal.

The first of The Balcony’s many rotating menus features a succulent, fresh seafood offering of six carefully designed dishes, perfect to enjoy alone or to share. Priced at £10 each, guests can choose from Oysters with Lime Caviar; Kiwi Mussels with Green Thai Curry; Salvo’s Salmon Bagel; Pikios Grilled Octopus with Lemon Fava; Valparaiso Ceviche with Pink Grapefruit, and a vegetarian Sabish Aubergine with Tahini and Amba Sauce.
To accompany the dishes, The Balcony bar will be serving a variety of tempting cocktails for £12.75. Sip on the Helicolada, with spiced rum, raspberry, blackberry, coconut, passionfruit, strawberry, pineapple juice and passionfruit juice; the Candy Land with redberry vodka, sloe gin, triple sec, angostura, apple juice, lemon juice, agave syrup; or choose from four unique Margarita and Daquiri options including the Spicy Mezcal Margarita shaken with tequila blanco, mezcal reposado, triple sec, lime juice, chilli, agave nectar.

The Heliot Steak House has also launched ‘Bring Your Own Vino’ Mondays. Available every Monday with no corkage fee, Heliot Steak House now welcomes diners to bring unlimited bottles of wine, of all sizes and descriptions to dinner, with Head of Wine, Salvatore Russo also on hand to expertly pair each bottle with delicious dishes from the menu.
Speaking of which, when it comes to the menu, prepare to be blown away. From the starters, the Ocean Plate is a sight to behold, while the Sea Bass Ceviche with tiger milk and passionfruit, and the Goat Cheese Lollipops with lemon curd get our votes.
When it comes to the steak range, you’re in for a real treat. Named after Madame Claire Heliot who in her heyday at the Hippodrome would hand-feed her dozen lions on stage raw steaks, the cuts available here come from all over the world. We strongly recommend the Tasting Board, because with this you get three steaks from three countries with three different sauces: the flavoursome Argentinian rib eye, the moreish Australian sirloin and the homegrown English Hereford fillet.

Heliot Steak House is a foodie destination in itself, even more so now thanks to The Balcony.
The new exclusive eight-cover bar features luxury plush brown leather seats perched around a shining stainless steel bar top, right in the heart of the action. The space, adorned by hanging lights and lit with vibrant LEDs, completes its glamorous location overlooking the grand casino. Either end of the bar homes two meat fridges, championing its steakhouse location, filled with the high-grade cuts of aged meat that is served within the bar and restaurant.
